Light and Air Control

Window shutters offer far more control over light and air-flow than curtains achieve. Both light and air flow can be controlled by adjusting louvre tilt positioning using a central or hidden tilt control.

For example, with a split full-height panel with a mid-rail (i.e. split-level panels with louvres both top and bottom), you can close the lower louvres keeping the upper louvres open which maintains the window's superb looks, and affords a generous amount of light and air-flow as well as maintaining privacy, and offering blackout at night.

Caution: you'll need good DIY skills, the installation of shutters and blinds can be a difficult process with lots of potential complications, which is why we highly recommend you use our professional fitting service to ensure your window shutters or blinds fit perfectly.
